The $39 Sweater You Need This Fall

I love this look! All black is classic, and you can't go wrong with leggings and an oversized sweater this time of year. I actually liked this sweater so much, I went and got it in two different colors. It's only $39 and great quality, so it's something I can wear for seasons to come. These are also my favorite leggings! They're a little pricey, but they're made by SPANX so they smooth everything out nicely, and they are great quality. Not to mention, the faux leather look can easily be dressed up or down!

I know it's only Tuesday, but I'm already looking foward to the weekend! This week at work has been crazy, and we are headed to the Grove Park Inn in Asheville Saturday! Grove Park has always been on my bucket list, so i'm excited to finally check it off the list and spend some quality time with Shane!

Fall Must Have: Moto Jacket

Moto Jacket // Sleeveless Turtleneck // Distressed jeans // Crossbody bag // Booties (last season via Topshop, similar linked)

This is by far one of the edgiest outfits I've ever posted, but I just can't get over this faux leather moto jacket! I wear a ton of black in the fall/winter, so I know this jacket is going to get tons of use and it is extremely warm! Outside of the moto jacket, you can probably easily recreate this look with pieces you already have in your closet. I wear this sleeveless turtleneck to work all the time, and picked it up at the #Nsale for under $20 earlier this year. My jeans are high-waisted and extra distressed. These jeans didn't feel nearly as soft as others to me, however they're under a $100 and closely resemble designer pairs - so they're worth it. I think this look is perfect for dinner and drinks after work one night! I love mixing in a little edge, keeps everyone on their toes!

Kendall & Kylie Velvet Jumpsuit

Good Morning, it's Monday again! I feel like I still have so much to catch up on, but I finally got around to posting this amazing jumpsuit. Jumpsuits are usually questionable for me, especially if I'm ordering online, due to my height. This one however, is actually a little too long (never happens)! I wore this bad boy in Chicago, although I took the pictures for it in Charlotte to spare my non-blogger friends who we were on vacation with the agony of taking a thousand pictures. We had planned a dinner at an upscale restaurant in Chi, and I really wanted to wear something different. I happened to spot this at Nordstrom while returning something before the trip, and knew I had to try it on. Green is one of my favorite colors to wear, so obvi this beautfiul shade caught my eye. But yall, more importantly, it is so comfortable! I can't rave about the comfort level enough! You literally feel like you are wearing nothing.. in a non awkward way. I do reccommend sizing down though, i usually wear a small, and the extra small was better for this piece. I also just absolutely love the open back, but then again, who doesn't love an open back?! Anyway, with the holidays rolling around before we know it, I plan on wearing this again to a few holiday parties. It's the perfect shade of green for Christmas!

Did everyone make it through hurricane Matthew okay!? One of my best friends got married in Raleigh Saturday, so I spent the weekend celebrating her and her new hubby. She was seriously the most beautiful bride I have ever seen! I'll post a pic of us once she gets them back so ya'll can witness :) I hope everyone has a fantastic week!

3 Timeless Pieces For Fall

faux leather mini skirt // deep-v teeshirt // denim jacket // handbag // sunglasses // Espadrilles (sold out but linked similar pair)

This outfit is unlike anything else I have in my closet, but it has quickly become my favorite! I'm always looking to step outside of my comfort zone and try new things, and this leather mini was definitely that. Living in the Carolina's, you learn that fall is all about layering. It's always chilly in the morning, and by the time mid afternoon rolls around you're ready to break a sweat again. Hence the need for this amazing oversized denim jacket (obsessed). It's the softest denim I have ever felt, and it's just the right amount of "oversized." Not to mention, all three of these pieces can easily be transitioned into other looks. For example, the faux leather mini can be paired with heels and an off the shoulder sweater like this, or this, for an evening look.

Long story short, I would be lying if I said you didn't need a leather mini in your fall wardrobe - you won't regret it, promise! xoxo

7 Fall Staples Under $100

There are so many cute things out for fall right now! I wanted to round up a few of my current favorites under $100, because shopping for the season change doesn't always have to break the bank! Some of the best things out right now in terms of quality, are at great price points! One of my favorite trends is suede. Suede booties, suede leggings, suede moto jackets and the list goes on. You can't go wrong with an oversized sweater like this one either, they go perfectly with leggings and OTK boots and will last for seasons to come. I also can't wait to pair the suede leggings with a body suit, long coat, and heels for a chic evening look!

I hope everyone has a great week!

Circle Hem Tunic & High Waisted Bell Flare Jeans

Bell Flare Jeans // Circle Hem Tunic // Booties (mine are old, linked similar pair) // Tassel Earrings // Louis Vuitton Neverfull GM (similar here) // Link Bracelet // Ring

Ya'll, I cannot rave about this outfit enough. I am completely in love with these high waisted bell flare jeans! They fit like a designer pair, and the price is unbelievable. I'm wearing a size 4R which is what I usually wear, however they do stretch out a little so I could have probably sized down to a 2 and been fine. I am 5'8" so the length of these are perfect for wearing with heels or wedges, however - they are a bit long to wear with flats. I would reccommend getting them hemmed if you don't want to wear them with a heel as they don't shrink much. I also really love the dark wash. As the temperatures start to drop, you'll notice all my favorite jeans are always dark - I just feel like they are more versatile in the sense that you can dress them up or down.  If you aren't keen on spending upwards of $200 on a pair of designer jeans, these are just as good!

As for the sweater, this is perfect for fall! I am obssesed with all things saddle brown right now -- it just feels very "October". I recently wore it with leggings, and heeled black booties which dressed it up a bit too.

Express is currently running a sale that ends TODAY! $15 off of $50, $25 off $75 or $70 off $200! AND the good news isn't over yet, my jeans are buy 1 get 1 for $29.90 - so i'm linking all my favorites for you below!

Anyway, did anybody see the Clemson game last night!? I was on the edge of my seat until the very last seconds of the game! I'm so happy they won, but I was having serious FOMO about not being there! We are headed down there for the Syracuse game in November, and
I can't waitttt!
