Turks & Caicos Travel Guide

The adventures have been endless this summer, but I couldn't go without sharing my favorite trip of the season thus far - Beaches Turks & Caicos! Today I'm walking you through the rooms, the food, the service, and amenities. So let's get started! 

Rooms // There are four different "villages" at Beaches Turks & Caicos! Caribbean and Seaside, Italian, Key West, and French. We had a villa in Key West (pictured in the above two photos), but were traveling with two other bloggers who had a room in the Caribbean village. Both were awesome! Our villa was equipped with a kitchen, full size refrigerator (that was stocked with waters, juices, and champagne), a living room and separate bedroom/bathroom. The style and decor of the villa was more traditional, while our girlfriends room in the Caribbean village was newly updated and more modern. We spent most of our time around the Key West village as it felt a little newer and secluded from the hustle and bustle. I highly recommend this area if you prefer somewhere quieter, and geared towards adults.

Dining // The property has 21 restaurants to choose from! We vacationed at Beaches for four days, so we didn't have a chance to try them all but I can honestly say what we did try was great! I had read that this particular resort was known for their food, and I totally see why. Some of my personal favorites were the sushi at Sky Restaurant, breakfast at Barefoot By the Sea, dinner at Kimonos, and coffee at Cafe de Paris!

Grounds // This resort is massive, ya'll! I didn't realize this until we got there, but it's hands down the biggest resort I've ever been too. The grounds are very clean, well manicured, and easily walkable. Our first morning at Beaches, Bailey and I went for a run around the property to scope out where we waned to hang during the trip! I highly recommend at least taking a walk around the paths in the mornings before it gets too warm to be able to see everything and get acclimated in terms of direction. As I mentioned above, Key West seemed to be the quietest area of the resort, and where we spent most of our time, while the Italian village was super kid friendly. We also really enjoyed the pool over in the French area!

Amenities // There is truly something for everyone here! If you have kids, the resort is fully equipped with a water park, kids camp, and even a choo choo train. If you're looking at more of a couples vacation they offer beach front water sports, scuba diving, golf etc. We had such a good time just soaking in the blue water at the beach, and hanging by the pool that we didn't do too many activities. However, we did opt for a sailboat ride off the beach which was a blast! Pro Tip: the yellow rings in the water on the beach are amazing for just relaxing in the water while still getting a tan! It's like your own personal float.

Service // The service was exceptional! I'm a big time critic on service, and I really have no complaints here. Everyone was friendly, helpful, timely and most importantly - happy to be there, which was so refreshing! Upon arrival, we had the friendliest staff member (his name was Jude) help us with our bags, get acclimated to our room, offer additional drink supplies etc. Service can really make or break a trip for me, and the staff at Beaches are truly in the right jobs! 

At the end of the day, we can't wait to get back to Beaches Turks & Caicos! It's been by far, our favorite blogger vacation to date, and we hope to return with the boys in tow sooner rather than later.
