Finding the right hair regimen can be a challenge. As you may already know, I've been going through what I call "hair-rehab" for the last year in the name of restoring the health and natural shine to my hair after extensive heat, color, and styling damage. With that said, I've tried out numerous products from new styling tools, to masks, and treatments, and while some work others don't. So, today I want to talk about Pantene's first at-home rescue treatment, Pantene Pro-V Intense Rescue Shots which will be hitting shelves in the US in January 2019.
When Pantene reached out to to try the new Intense Rescue Shots, and being that I'm currently hair obsessed, I jumped at the opportunity to potentially find a new product that works. So, you're probably wondering what this product claims to do, correct? Ideal for color-treated and heat-styled hair of all types, the Intense Rescue Shots claim to noticeably repair damaged hair in just one use. I pay over $30 every other week for treatments at a salon to help restore moisture, shine, and the overall health of my hair - therefore, when I heard I could potentially get these same results at home and for a lot less money, it only made sense to try it out.
So how does it work? "The single-dose tube contains a deeply absorbing blend of Pro-Vitamin B5, strengthening lipids and natural glycerin that targets the damaged areas to give hair the flexibility and resilience it needs to endure styling and environmental stresses." The lipids in the shot are meant to be absorbed into the hair, rather than coating it like other masks. You can use it once a week in place of your regular conditioner, coating the hair from roots to tips and targeting trouble areas specifically. For me, this is the crown area of my hair as I see the most breakage from styling and hair-ties in that area. You leave the Intense Rescue Shots in for 30 seconds, and then rinse for 30 seconds and that's all there is to it. Be sure to not over-rinse!
So, what are my overall thoughts on the Pantene Pro-V Intense Rescue Shots? Well, my hair feels noticeably softer and lighter weight post use. It also has a nice shine to it and definitely feels less dry and brittle. I'm interested in trying this out religiously once a week over an extended period of time to see how it helps the overall health of my hair!

ReplyDeleteI'm blown away by the variety of designs on your clothing collection because I'm familiar with knitting, which the girls enjoy doing when they want to stitch their outfits and knit with various laces which is also be hobby, but being a law students leave no time for such activities. Even right now I was starting to do my law assignment which needs to be submitted within three days.
ReplyDeleteWell, hair masks are new to me as I've only watched the cream colors. A friend of mine working at dissertation writing help UK asked me to try the mask but I am not sure about that.
