Floral Wrap Maxi Dress

Dress & hat Vici c/o // Lace-up heels // Cross Ring // Link Bracelet // Watch // David Yurman // Similar hat

Hi friends! Is it really Monday already? I swear the weekend goes by in a flash. I spent part of my weekend in Isle of Palms working on some new content! It's hard to believe summer is almost over, but it was nice to spend one last day at the beach. However, I'm not lying when I say I'm ready for all things pumpkin, cooler weather, sweaters and Clemson football!!

Wrap dresses are such an easy transition piece for the fall season. I love this one in particular because the color is flattering, and the material is still lightweight. If you haven't noticed, I'm all about effortless looks, and this one couldn't be easier. Not to mention, it was under $60. If you haven't checked out Vici, you must do so now - I'm obssesed.

May your coffee be strong, and your Monday short my friends!

Camo T-Shirt Dress

Z Supply Camo Dress (under $40) // Denim Jacket (just bought this one) // Espadrilles // Handbag: Louis Vuitton (similar option here) // Earrings

There are so many great things coming out for fall right now! I just can't handle it, I want.it.all (insert covering eyes monkey emoji).  I've actually never been a camo girl, but I've been learning to step out of my comfort zone to try new things lately and I actually loved this dress. I guess I used to associate camo with those oversized overalls & hunting -- and I'm definitely not a "woodsie" kinda girl if you know what I mean!?

I was looking for something trendy, affordable, and edgy -- not asking for much right? So when I came across this t-shirt dress I knew it would be perfect for daily wear. There is nothing better to me than being able to throw on something quick on the weekends and go, zero effort required. Not to mention, all of Z Supply's clothing is extremely soft and comfortable, and this was no exception.

In other news, it's getting close to the weekend! I'm super excited because we are shooting my first video shoot! Make sure to check Snapchat for bts footage :)

Lace Midi Dress

Lace Midi Dress // Lace-up Heels (similar here) // Bag (dupe for Chloe no longer available) // Stackable Rings // Link Bracelet // David Yurman // Watch

Hi friends! I've been a little behind on posts lately, so please forgive me but I am so excited to share one of my favorite recent purchases. I had a bridal lunch to attend, and in true "me" fashion, decided to wait until the last minute to figure out what I was wearing. I had my fingers crossed that Nordies would pull through for me, and per usual they did!

I absolutely love the lace detailing on this dress. It's super feminine & flirty and in my opinion, it's timeless. The "midi" length makes it appropriate for any occasion. You can easily wear this to a wedding, engagement party, bridal/baby shower, date night etc.! The high collar was extremely flattering and fit perfectly, so it was still comfortable. Oh, and can we talk about the price?! Serious steal considering it's versatility. I got a ton of compliments on this one, highly reccommend!

How To Style a Coffee Table

Vase can be found here

Styling a coffee table can be a daunting task. Along with a sofa, it's known as the centerpiece of any living/family room and like our bookcase (see this post), I wanted the coffee table to be functional, yet trendy. Being that we live in a smaller home, our coffee table is one of the first things people see when they come over, and often times serves multiple purposes. So, I decided to invest a little time into making it my own version of perfect.

A few things I learned along the way:

- Stick to multiples shades of only one, two, or (max) three colors. In our case, I tried to stick with neutral heus.

- Add in gold or silver accents with less conventional, non-metal items like a gold or silver lacquer tray, candle, playing cards etc.

-Natural elements: These add a pop of color, and bring the outdoors in.

- Candles: You can never go wrong here (I think?), they add ambiance to the room and smell good.

-Books: Choose books that you actually want to read, and that may be of interest to your visitors as well. I obviously have a passion for fashion and this was the perfect reason to splurge on that Chanel book I had been wanting.

-Decorative accents: We actually call them trinkets at our house, but they are interesting to look at, and generally spark conversation between guests.

-Tray: I love trays. They're a fantastic way to organize and group together some of the previously stated items.

Afterall, a coffee table is an investment piece but should be fun to style! Don't rush the process, and find items you truly love! All product details can be found below.

XOXO

No Bake Energy Bites

photo c/o gimme some oven

Must. Have. Chocolate. This is pretty much the thought process in my head after every meal (anyone else feel my pain?) However, if you follow me on Instagram, you've probably noticed I actually try to live a pretty healthy lifestyle. I work a job that requires me to eat out daily - I know, I know, poor me. But, this means I need to be super health conscious about my choices. I'm a big snacker, so I'm always looking for things that taste good and satisfy my sweet tooth without being completely useless from a nutrition standpoint. That's where the energy bites come into play, I did the math on these bad boys, and they're about a 100 calories a piece, and a healthy combination of protein (about 5 grams), carbs, fats and they seriously taste amazing! I wouldn't eat more than two per day, but they're just sweet enough to ward off the chocolate devil on my shoulder.

Ingredients:
1 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup of nut butter, I use peanut butter
1/3 cup of honey
1/4 cup of almond meal
1/4 cup slivered almonds
1 tablespoon of chia seeds
1 tablespoon of flax seed
1 tablespoon of coconut oil, melted
1 scoop of vanilla whey protein powder
1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions:
In a large bowl, mix rolled oats, almond meal, protein powder, almonds, chia seeds, and flax seed together. In the same bowl, add in peanut butter, honey, coconut oil and chocolate chips. Mix all ingredients together until you get a thick sticky/doughy substance. Put the mixed ingredients in the fridge for 30-45 minutes to allow mixture to harden (this helps when shaping them into a ball). Take them out of the refrigerator, roll teaspoon sized balls, and you're all set!

This makes about 20-25 balls, and only takes about 15-20 minutes of prep time. Enjoy!!

I'd love to hear how you guys like it!
