Floral Shorts Under $100

This is by far, one of my favorite outfits of the season! I wore it to a birthday dinner last weekend and just can't get enough of it! It's hard for me to find shorts that aren't too short, or too tight (big booty problems), and still look cute high-waisted. These are comfortable, figure flattering, and affordable. I also love the ruffle detail on the bottom of them! My top was a perfect match for the shorts, and could easily be re-styled with any type of high-wasited denim. I had been on the hunt for a new pair of wedges that are lighter in color for months, and finally came across these Steve Maddens. The neutral color pairs well with just about any outfit, and the wedge makes them easier to walk in then your traditional heeled sandal.

I hope you all had a great holiday weekend! We had so much fun out on the lake and are already looking forward to the next outing. This is an extra short week for me as I'm headed back down to Charleston for a girls weekend with my mom and sister tomorrow!

Swimwear under $50

Memorial Day Weekend is almost here, and I couldn't be more excited! For the past few years, we've rented a boat on Lake Norman with a big group of friends, and it's always such a good time! With that being said, I'm always looking for a festive bathing suit to wear to show my pride and this $48 striped one piece from Impressions Boutique is perfect for the occasion!

It fits TTS (I'm wearing a small) and feels great! If you remember my blogpost and one piece suit from the Dominican Republic in February, you may remember me talking about how the suit was cut higher around the hips. This striped one piece is cut that way, too! It's so flattering and really helps elongate your legs! I also think it just looks more natural than being cut across the hips. The straps are adjustable, and the bust came fully lined - highly recommend!

The second suit I'm wearing is just the cutest! I love the coral color, and ya'll already know how I feel about florals. I put this on and immediately wanted to be teleported to Hawaii (anyone with me here?). I wore the top of this uncrossed, however, it can also be worn crossed at the neck! My only reccomendation on this one is to size down on the top if you are smaller busted, I'm wearing a small and it was slightly loose around my back. An extra small would've been perfect! I also want to point out that the top and bottom are both only $24 each! That's a killer deal for a great quality swimsuit.

Head to Impressions website to checkout the full swimwear line which launches tonight! Lots of great pieces for summer at the beach, lake or pool!

Alo Coast Capris

It's finally Friday! Can I get a hallelujah?! We have a jam packed weekend (per usual), but lots of fun stuff going on! Check out Instagram stories tomorrow to see us shop for Bridesmaid dresses, eek!

Today I want to talk about these Alo Coast Capri workout pants! I was on a mission to find a white legging for the gym that wasn't see through, that didnt pill, kept me cool, and had a high-waist. Ya I know, not high maintenance or anything - haha. Alo is one of my favorite yoga brands. The quality of the product is generally great, and the price point is slightly lower than some of your big box retailers. The mesh insets in these offer breathability, and are figure flattering! I also like that the material is super stretchy, it's not contricting in the least bit. So if you're looking for a pant that sucks you in just about everywhere, this isn't it.

My tank comes in three colors, and is by far my favorite tank to workout in. It's made out of Silverescent Technology, so it feels slinky and breathable! It also has a tie up back that I appreciate when trying to do burpees or anything that requires jumping in the gym (BBG requires a ton of jumping). I typically just tie the shirt up for the full workout, especially if my pants are high-wasited.

Have a great weekend, ya'll - xoxo.

Packing Tips With PurseN

Tiffany Travel Case

Tiara Vacationer

Happy Monday! We are back from Charleston and I'm already wishing we had never left.

I'm really excited about todays blogpost! I've mentioned this before, but I'm not the most organized person in the world. I promise, I try - but somehow things always end up jumbled. We travel all the time, and all too often I stick all of my jewelry in a little bag and by the time we arrive somewhere it's mangled, tangled, and a hot mess. This is predominantly due to the fact that I never had anything to keep my jewels organized. So, when I heard about PurseN I couldn't have been more excited! Not only are their products pretty to look at, they are really functional and super easy to use!

My three go to jewelry cases are the Bangle Bar, Tiffany Travel Case and Tiara Vacationer.

Bangle Bar // My arm stack always consists of a watch, a bracelet, and a bangle or cuff of some sort. These are the three items I wear on my wrist every day. So, I knew this piece would come into great use. It has a removeable padded bar with a strap over top of it to keep all your accesories in place while traveling. I also like that the top of it is translucent, this allows me to see which items I packed, and hopefully jolt my memory if I forgot an important piece. Not to mention, it's only $28 - so it's reasonably priced.

Tiffany Travel Case // This piece is a little pricier, but if you're looking for something to carry all your toiletry items in, it's worth it. It comes with three removable cases, pictured above, that are the perfect size for your toothbrush, toothpaste, and any travel sized items like shampoo and conditioner (or in my case dry shampoo). I also found it really handy for storing all my lip liners, lipsticks, glosses, mascaras etc. It also features a large compartment with an elastic band that was great for holding my perfumes.

Tiara Vacationer // This one might be my favorite! If you're anything like me, you have a 100 different pairs of earrings, and you want to bring them all on vacation - am I right? This jewelry case is a life saver, if so! It has 10 built in pockets and 6 removable pouches that have both small and large zipper compartments in them for different sized jewels. This was so handy for not only earrings, but I put my rings and delicate necklaces in it too. Everything was in emaculate shape by the time we got to Charleston! This piece would also be great for "at home" use if you don't have storage for your earrings.

When I posted these on Instagram last week, a few people asked questions about the material the cases were made out of. The outside of these are a faux leather material, and the inside is Nylon and wipeable (super practicle). They also have handbag organizers, pill cases, laundry bags, makeup cases etc. I will definitely be expanding my collection! I chose the White Dunes collection to match my luggage, however they have a plethora of color options outside of this one!

Long story short, these are by far my favorite travel accesories to date! I can't rave about them enough! Therefore, I've paired up with PurseN to offer my readers 25% off the entire site (you can find it here), including the brand new collections! All you have to do is enter code "CHEEKY" at checkout.

Leave me a comment with your feedback on them, I'd love to know what you think!

Ruffled Off The Shoulder Top

I just love this outfit. It's fun, it's practical, and it's affordable. What more do you need in an outfit, right? The top comes in two colors (the other is aqua), and looks really cute with shorts too! My jeans are only $68 and the perfect addition to any weekend wardrobe. Fringy raw cut hems are trending right now too, and these are good quality for the price point! I also fell in love with this necklace at Nordstrom the other day. I was standing at the counter, and happened to see the collection out of the corner of my eye and ended up going home with it. Tassel necklaces are a great way to add a little interest to any simple outfit, especially when they're neutral in color - they go with everything!

We are headed to Charleston this weekend for wedding planning meetings! Eek, I'm actually really excited to nail down some of the details. Shane on the other hand, will probably be bored to tears - haha. Poor thing! Stay tuned on Instagram Stories for snippets of our planning!

Coral Halter Romper

Happy Sunday, babes!

I hope you all had a great weekend! It was such a beautiful day in Charlotte today. We went to a wedding last night, so today was all about relaxing around the house!

I've had quite the romper obsession lately. I feel like everything I find and like, is either a romper or jumper at the moment. But hey, whatever works! Am I right? The color of this brings out the inner sun goddess in me. I don't know what it is about bright colors, but I love them all. I also just purchased this romper today, and cannot wait to wear it! Talk about flattering. Anyway, I tend to gravitate towards pieces that have high necks like halters in the summer, and turtlenecks in the fall. I'm a smaller chested person, so the high neck takes attention away from what's lacking, if you know what I mean. I also really appreciate that it's not skin tight, and long enough to cover my hiney appropriately! It also comes in a really pretty floral print which you can find here.

Side note: Do ya'll ever get the Sunday scaries? Someone send me a cure, they're in full force tonight!
