Happy Tuesday lovelies! I'm a little behind on my posts so this one's a little late, but better late than never right?! If you've been following me for awhile you've probably noticed that I have a slight love affair with Show Me Your Mumu. It's a good thing I didn't discover them while I was in college or I would've spent all my hard earned bartending money in one order (insert covering eyes emoji)! I was looking for a good outfit for the Clemson game, and for my birthday, and just fell in love with the pattern on this plum colored beauty. What I loved even more was that the pattern was mocked after one in an adult coloring book! How cool is that!? Anyway, I loved the boho flare so much, I also bought it in the long sleeved version which you can find here. I'm all about that comfort meets cute vibe, and this dress is it. I paired if with my newest pair of over the knee boots, and off I went to the Clemson game. 

Since my birthday fell on a Tuesday this year, and I had to travel for work the following weekend, we celebrated my birthday the weekend prior. I'm a die hard Clemson fan, and they so happened to be playing Syracuse (my boyfriends team) in Clemson that weekend, so it was a perfect outing. Clemson will never get old to me, watching a football game there is a total experience that I highly recommend for anyone interested in sports, Clemson fan or not. On my actual birthday, Shane and I had planned to go to dinner together after work, and I had a girls dinner planned for the following evening. Little did I know, Shane had secretively planned a surprise dinner with all those same girlfriends on my actual birthday! Needless to say, they sure do know how to make a girl feel special!

Apple Cider Mimosas

With Thanksgiving only a few days away, and Friendsgiving in full action, I wanted to talk about my favorite holiday cocktail recipe! Apple Cider Mimosas are my jam! A few weeks ago, Shane and I went over to a friends house for Halloween, and she brought Apple Cider Mimosas for everyone. I don't know why I never thought to mix these two together, but what a game changer that was (insert heart eyes emoji)! It tastes absolutely delicious, it's simple, and they're super fun for the holidays! 

Ingredients:

1 Champagne of choice

1 Apple Cider of choice (I choose cider made of Honeycrisp apples)

1 Apple

1 Tbsp of Cinnamon Sugar 

Instructions:

Dip the top of each Champagne glass into a little water to wet the rim of the glass, and then dip in the Cinnamon Sugar to coat. Poor each Champagne glass 1/2 full with Champagne (I went 3/4 full here). Top the rest of the glass off with Apple Cider. The ratio here is really up to you, the Apple Cider is concentrated enough that you don't taste a strong Champagne taste! Cut apple slices for garnishing. Cheers!

We are exactly one week away from Thanksgiving, can you believe it!? Time is flying by! I love this outfit. It's so simple to put together, but looks like you made the effort! If you're looking for something to wear during Turkey Day, this is the perfect look. It's easy to recreate, it's comfortable, and if you switch out the jeans for a pair of faux leather leggings, or leggings in general, you'll have the perfect amount of breathing room for all that food (insert winking eye emoji). I purchased my cardigan during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, and am finally getting some serious use out of it! Unfortunately, my exact color is sold out so I've linked the current available color options. I have it in 3 colors and highly reccommend.
